Miracle: A Testimony of Life

Before Christ
Before the pandemic, I was very down and couldn't recover on my own. The main reason was the sudden departure of a good brother, which I couldn't accept. I developed hallucinations about food and wouldn't eat; I had no appetite. I had an idea that since I wasn't eating, maybe I could substitute sweet drinks. For the first twenty-two days of the pandemic, I replaced food entirely with sweet drinks. Due to excessive sugar, I developed a very severe bacterial infection in my body. I was sent to the hospital, and my blood sugar reached 27.9. In the emergency room, only an intern doctor helped me take medication and receive an IV drip. I clearly remember that six hours later, my blood sugar dropped back to 6. I was then sent to the second floor, where a bed was prepared for me, and I was all alone. I drifted off to sleep vaguely.
How I met Jesus
A very dazzling bright light appeared before my eyes, so intense that I couldn't open them. A thought suddenly arose in my consciousness that the Lord was coming to take me home to heaven. I even asked, "Lord, are You taking Your child back?" I heard a clear voice say, "Go back! Your work is not yet finished." When I woke up, the nurse checked me and confirmed I had no infection.
My life today
I was sent back to the intensive care unit downstairs. The first words from the attending doctor astonished me! "Your God saved you!" I asked curiously, "Doctor, why would you say that?" because he wasn't a Christian. He said, "I found the cause of your illness; it was a bacterial infection." I don't have much medical knowledge, so I asked, "What number is life-threatening?" The doctor said, "10," but what was found in my body was 280+. It's impossible to survive among millions of people. I suddenly realized that the true light, the true and living God, was protecting my life; He redeemed me with His precious blood. He allowed me to completely experience a resurrection from death. Thank and praise the Lord! All glory to Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!
